What's good everyone? Hope y'all are enjoying the weekend, and if not...here's some new music to make it a little better...
First up we got my new favorite group, The Cool Kids on a track with none other than the collabo whore: Lil' Wayne. I can't knock dude's hustle...but I mean is there any artist he won't spit a 16 for?? I mean he's even working with that High School Musical kid Zac Efron right now (Click here to read the story). Moving on...we got some audio of Fat Joe in the booth on BET's Rap City the other day. He goes over Jay's "Can I Live" instrumental, and other than the horrible editing done over his curses, it's actually hot. It's a damn shame that he's turned into this trend-following-south-jocking-shell-of-his-former-self. Back in the day Joey was a straight beast on the mic. All you young'ns should do yourself a favor and check out his third album "Don Cartagena"...you'll thank me later. We also got freestyles from Twista over Alicia Keys' "No One" & Young Chris over Common's "I Want You". Also some heat from Guilty Simpson along with Sean Price and producer extraordinaire: Black Milk (keep an eye open for a Black Milk post later this week). Next up is the debut single from Estelle, a British singer/songwriter who just got signed to John Legend's new label and the track is titled 'American Boy' and features Kanye West. Finally we're wrapping up with new shit from Brand Nubian's Sadat X, who highlights his 3 month stint at Rikers in "90 Days", a remix to "They Know" from the criminally underrated Kardinal Offishall featuring Akon, and some '08 music from Little Brother.

Alright, I'm fuggin exhausted from DJing all night...I had to fuckin carry two 15 inch speakers in wooden cabs, a 50 pound amp, my laptop, and my tables & mixer up and down 2 huge flights of stairs. My back is DESTROYED. Check back tomorrow for a bunch of updates. I'll have Ego Trip's 1992 list, along with some mixtapes/albums plus some tracks I didn't feel like uploading tonight along with some other assorted shit. Be easy...
