Well it's only 10 tracks, but it's still Stoup's solo debut! If you know Jedi Mind Tricks, you know Stoupe. He's the guy behind the scenes making all them dope beats! He's also produced for other artists including the entire Rip The Jacker album from Canibus. There's some dope rappers on this one and it sounds good as expected.

Born Like This

I know some of you were asking for the new DOOM album in the c-box and I even saw a link posted, but I figured I'd make it extra official and throw it up on the main page as well. Personally, I don't fucks with dude at all...but I know he's got a pretty big following, so I got no problems hitting y'all off with what ya wanna hear. I'm not even gonna get into why I can't stand him, so do me the courtesy and don't even bother defending/hyping up dude...I don't wanna hear it. So with that said, here's "Born Like This" his first full-length solo album in 4 years. It features production from Dangermouse, Dilla, & of course Doom along with guest appearances from Raekwon & Ghostface...

What's good people? Here's that album that some of y'all been waiting for. All In A Days Work by Saigon with Statik Selektah on the beats! As you probably know, this was supposedly done in a day. I don't believe that the songs were all written, the beats were all made, the, the music came together etc. all in a day, but I can see how they were able to build with what they already had together. Either way it's not bad.

*The tags were a little fucked up when I downloaded it. But I fixed all that.

02. So Cruel
03. The Rules

Here that new shit "More Grey Hairs" by Reks! I didn't know it would be floating around already, but apparently it is. It sounds good too. If for any reason there's a better version later on, you know it'll be up. I did notice that the songs aren't really tagged properly as far as order goes. But hey, the music is still there.

Here's the official video for "In My Sleep" from Joe Budden! It should of been out a while ago, but fuck it. The album is dope and the video is nice too. His next video off the album will be for Exxes. Look out for that.

What's good people? I've had a busy last couple of days and I haven't had the time to post shit. But here's the first of a couple today. For those that follow Budden and/or Wale, you probably already know that they're doing a track together with 9th Wonder on the beat. This should be insane. Here's a little video of them chopping it up in the studio.

It's been a hot minute, but CNN (that's Capone-N-Noreaga for all you smart dumb motherfuckas) is back with another album. After dropping two certified classics; "The War Report" & "The Reunion", the duo has teamed up once again to try and recreate some of that timeless QB magic. Your boy can still remember hearing "The War Report" back in '97 for the first time. Shitttt that production was so fuckin' ill...I remember damn near losing my mind to that signature Marley Marl sound on "L.A. L.A.". It's such a shame that Tragedy Khadafi never got the recognition he deserved...but that's another story for another day. So let's get into the new album "Channel 10". The album features production from DJ Premier, The Alchemist, Ron Browz, Havoc among others. It's also got guest appearances from Busta, Ron Browz, Mobb Deep, Clipse, Maino, DPG + more!

CAPONE-N-NOREAGA - CHANNEL 10

Every year on March 9th, I always make it a point to pay my respects to my personal favorite rapper of all-time; The Notorious B.I.G. Whether it's by walking up to my local bank teller and reciting lyrics to "Gimme The Loot", or requesting that my chick to call me a "chronic smokin', oreo cookie eatin', pickle juice drinkin', chicken gristle eatin', biscuit suckin' motherfucka" during sex, or reaching into my closet and grabbing that red and black lumberjack (with the hat to match) or even just by posting up some vintage Biggie material on the DU...paying homage is absolutely necessary on this day each year.

In all honesty, there really isn't much more to say that hasn't already been said about BIG. Even though it's been 12 years since Christopher Wallace was laid to rest, his influence and legacy is evident across all aspects of the industry and to this day his presence is sorely missed. I often think about what BIG would be doing in modern times. Would his reign as the King of New York still be accurate? Would Jay be as big a star as he is now? Would he still be down with Bad Boy & Diddy...or would he have started his own label by now? Obviously there's no way of answering these questions, but it's crazy to envision how things would be. But the best way to preserve Biggie's legacy is to continue playing his music and making sure that the next generation of hip-hop fans not only learn about his impact on the game, but learn the entire history of the culture and how he fits into the grand scheme of things

Now although I often disapprove of the millions of remixes/blends/mixtapes that have been released over the years, there are a select few that have been well executed and are worthy of being mentioned. Projects like DJ Cappel's "Blue Eyes Meets Bed-Stuy", Dirty Harry & DJ Vlad's "Rap Phenomenon", & Mister Cee's "Best Of Biggie" are all essential listening for any Biggie fan. So not only am I gonna hit y'all with links to those, but I'll also include the latest project from one of my favorite up & coming producers; Cookin' Soul. They've teamed up with DJ Drama to release "The Notorious B.I.G. Tribute" which features re-imagined covers of Biggie classics from artists like Tek, Grafh, CL Smooth, Skyzoo, Styles, Lil Cease, Jean Grae, Chaundon + more alongside original production from Cookin' Soul.
