Alright guys...After over a year of anticipation and multiple setbacks, Joe Budden's Mood Muzik 3 will finally be released this week. There's multiple rumors floating around that the pre-ordered copies were shipped Friday afternoon and should be delivered by Monday or Tuesday, which means we will be hearing it within the next day or so. Yesterday a press release revealed the official cover (as you can see above) and another track "5th Gear" was leaked in CD quality. I also just got in contact with Sultan, a producer who contributed four beats to MM3, and it looks like I'll be conducting an interview with him soon about his production and working with Joey on this potentially classic project. You can check out the press release below as well as the exclusive new track "5th Gear" by clicking the MM3 cover above.
Mood Muzik 3 Press Release:
Jumpoff Joe didn't keep his fans waiting for nothing...MOOD MUZIK 3 is the TRUTH and anybody that's been hearing JOE BUDDEN leak freestyles from it lately knows how serious this new CD is. The previous two volumes of the 'Mood Muzik' series were hailed as classics by everybody from mixtape fans to Internet hip-hop fanatics to hip-hop publications. This time around, Joe raised the bar again.
This third edition comes shortly after Joe Budden said Thanks, But No Thanks to hip-hop giant Def Jam Records and walked out on a record deal to pursue other options. Wanting desperately to get his muzik to the fans regardless of label politics, video buzz, radio singles or any of that bullsh*t, Joe Budden puts out about one of these a year to let his fans (and enemies) know his rhymebook is heavier than ever.
This new CD / DVD set is what you've been waiting for all year since last year's classic Mood Muzik sequel. Brought to you by Joe and his big homey DJ ON POINT (Is This What U Want??), this CD/DVD brings you all-new music from the New Jersey underground rap king as well as a DVD featuring footage that brings fans inside the life of Joe Budden, including footage of Buddens in the studio, freestyling, interviews, his crew...all that. Featuring appearances from Joell Ortiz, Fabolous/Ransom/Hitchcock (A-Team re-unites!!) and more!
