-> THE CLIPSE SIGN DEAL WITH COLUMBIA RECORDS
Good news for all my fellow Clipse fans. It was reported yesterday that Pusha & Malice have signed a deal with Columbia Records, successfully ending their long, rocky relationship with Jive records. The new deal is for five years, making Columbia the new home for both the duo & the rest of The Re-Up Gang which includes Ab-Liva & Sandman. Fans can expect the first official Re-Up Gang album featuring all 4 artists in early '08, with a follow-up to Clipse's "Hell Hath No Fury" later on in the year. However, the news isn't all good...the new deal means that they are no longer with Pharrell's Star Trak label & their next album will not be produced entirely by The Neptunes. However, they have confirmed that they are working with fellow Virginians Timbaland & Danja on the upcoming albums. Click here to read the full story.

-> WEEZY DROPPING PRE-ALBUM IN DECEMBER.
Lil' Weezy spoke to MTV News today about his plans to combat the bootleggers who have been leaking rumored tracks from the Carter 3 over the past several months. As a result of the high demand and praise surrounding the leaked music, Wayne will be releasing "Tha Carter III: The Leak" as a retail album in stores on December 18th. He explained that the album will feature finished and mastered versions of tracks that have been circulating on mixtapes and the internet for months. He claims that the versions we've heard were still works in progress, and that the new ones will be tweaked, sound better, and include new verses without jeopardizing the quality. He also announced that the track he debuted at the BET Awards entitled "Gossip" will be the first single & is planning on shooting a video for the track soon. He also assured MTV that the REAL tracks for The Carter III are secure and won't be heard until the real album drops sometime in February 2008. Click here to read the full story.
