I saw this coming one a mile away. The infamous Evil Empire has compiled the multiple leaked Wayne tracks into a nice, clean, organized mixtape for our listening pleasure along with a co-sign from the man himself. My question is...is it even necessary to mention "drought" & "Wayne" in the same sentence anymore? I'm 100% convinced this dude eats, sleeps, fucks, and shits in a studio. Forget a drought...How bout a constant flood? Like I said when I posted a bunch of these tracks earlier this week...don't expect any of these to show up on the actual album...these are more than likely throwaways featuring Wayne freestyling, fucking around, and messing with T-Pain's favorite vocal software.

Next, I just wanna address a comment someone posted in reference to some comments I made in the Joe Budden post yesterday. I thought it was worthy enough to throw on the main page along with my reply considering I don't know how many of you actually check the comments.
"You know i feel your shit b/c its a refreshing perspective and you seem to really care about hip hop. there is no denying that budden is underated but i was disappointed when you said 'fuck a weezy' only b/c the clique thing to do now is shit on wayne. not to mention the other day you were praisin the dude. sound like you contradictin yourself Vega." -anonymousHere's my response...
"First off...thanks for the comments...I encourage all feedback good or bad...even though I see the hits getting registered, it's much more rewarding to get some actual feedback from readers. Remember, I'm doing this for y'all...if people weren't checkin' for this site I obviously wouldn't be doing this....and if I was...I'd have some much bigger issues to deal with.
Now, regarding the Weezy comment...You are right about people riding the "Fuck Wayne" train but on the flip side alotta people are on the "Weezy is the G.O.A.T." tip right now. There doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground at all on peoples opinions of him or his music. He's rather the savior or satan....no in between. You're also 100% correct that I've praised Wayne many times on the site, but I do not feel he's the best rapper alive. I didn't mean to be harsh with my side comment...it was in the heat of the moment and the fact is, I've been waiting patiently for years for Joe to get the proper chance and opportunity he deserves to showcase his talents and the recent events have me deservedly hyped.
So, yeah on the surface it may have sounded like I was drunk off the Haterade but I wasn't in any way putting down Wayne's skills. I've been a fan since Carter 2, and while no one is coming close as far as swagger goes, but I think there are at least a handful of MC's who are better overall right now. But in the same context you mentioned about it being popular to hate on Wayne...I think a lot of younger and uneducated hip hop fans are also saying Weezy's the GOAT just because it's the popular thing to say. That's what bothers me about how there seems to be a lack of "casual" Wayne fans out there. I think a majority of his fans are more interested in his swagger, look, and the fact that he puts out new material every week than opposed to his actual skills. I mean there's no denying the guy has improved dramatically over the years and his flow and lyrical content is far above average...but at the rate he releases music...for every hot line he spits...there's about 15 more that are cheap and lame. The funny thing to me is, he's developed this huge cult following over the past year and a half, and he hasn't even released an album in that time! How can someone really be the greatest rapper alive by just putting out freestyles and showing up on features and remixes? I mean you can be up there...but not #1...Talk to me when the Carter 3 comes out...then I'll
seriously consider his claim.
Thanks again for the comment my dude...again...I encourage EVERYONE to comment good or bad on my posts...feel free to tell me if I'm outta line, messed up a fact, introduced you to your new favorite album/rapper, a link gets taken down, or a request for a song/album/review...I'll do my best to reply every time.
Keep reading motherfuckas!

yeah i feel you vega, i was at a party last night and my man was sitting around schooling kids on hip hop, shit was funny he had like a congregation but out of nowhere a kid says lil wayne's the greatest ever and shit hit the fan, i like wayne but i don't think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, i think im one of the few middle ground cats around, i think alot of people who hate are just sick of hearing people says he's the best, but i def think budden is that dude, no mainstream rapper has his emotional depth, but keep doin your thing man, this site keeps me sane
