After a random email request for some info on Foxy Brown's upcoming album, I did snooped around and got some inside info on the return of the Ill Na Na. Although Foxy's currently serving a one year prison term upstate at Rikers, her first studio album in 6 years: "Brooklyn's Don Diva" will be dropping Novemeber 20th. Foxy's had a roller-coaster ride over the past several years. After being signed on Def Jam and while recording a new album, she suddenly began to lose hearing and the condition got to a point where she had lost over 80% of hearing in both ears. After having successful surgery to correct her problem, her well documented anger problems began to get outta control. Long story short between 2003-2007 she was arrested almost 9 times for various assault charges. While racking up the community service and probation along the way, she finally got what she had coming this past summer after attacking her neighbor with a Blackberry. An NY judge sentenced her to a year in the can and she wont be eligible for parole until May 2008. The new album will be released while she's incarcerated via Koch Records.

Here's some leaked tracks from "Brooklyn's Don Diva"....

Foxy Brown ft. Movado - On Fire

Foxy Brown - Lights Go Out

Foxy Brown ft. Grafh - We Don't Surrender

Foxy Brown ft. Barrington Levy - Mr. DJ (1st Single)

As an added bonus...here's a great video showcasing some amateur footage of Foxy during the NYC Blackout getting something thrown at her car in traffic and proceeding to leap out and begin chasing and attacking the perpetrator before being backed away by someone wielding "The Club". Classy broad.
