As most of you already probably know, DJ Drama & Lil' Wayne recently announced that they'd be dropping the 3rd installment of their popular "Dedication" mixtape series later this week. However, it was initially reported that it'd drop at some point Thursday but considering it's now almost midnight, I guess we'll have to wait 'til some point tomorrow to hear the joint. Although we're all used to Weezy dropping 'tapes on a semi-weekly basis, dude has been awfully quiet ever since C3 dropped, and he's released hardly any new music in months. Not that I can blame him, I mean shit...after the non-stop whirlwind of music he dropped over the past two years building the hype leading up to the album's release and then actually managing to live up to the insanely high expectations, it was probably a very smart move to lay low for awhile & let people get a breather from the gremlin. But with that said, I know I can't be the only one who's interested to see what direction Wayne's about to take?
I guess only time will tell but while we wait for the first wave of fresh Wayne material, here's a few new leaks from "Dedication 3" including freestyles over Outkast's "Da Art Of Storytellin' 4" and "Get Silly" both of which unfortunately feature some new Young Money member appropriately named Gudda Gudda. In more unfortunate news, according to the tracklist he'll appear on a large majority of the 'tape along with the more talented YM members Jae Millz & Tyga.
