First up the morning is the full version of Kanye's upcoming second single "Heartless". This drop is coming hot off the heels of 'Ye's first listening session for "808's & Heartbreak" that took place in LA on Tuesday night. From what I've read from a bunch of reviews, the session took place in an art gallery and featured about 50 nude models hanging around in front of the audience while the album played out. The album itself was put together in a mere three weeks in Hawaii, and the vast majority of the album is SUNG by 'Ye as he also uses Auto-Tune for every track. The only features on the album include Young Jeezy & Lil' Wayne and from all the reviews I've seen so far, it seems like the album was pretty well received by the crowd and is a definite departure from anything West has done thus far. It is very somber, expressive and features dude "at his most vulnerable, weak, and honest". If you want to check out more info from the session check out in-depth reviews from: MySpace, Rolling Stone, Fader, & MTV.
I for one am definitely interested in hearing this shit. Above all else, you can always count on 'Ye to bring something different to the table with every project he drops. Yet on the other hand, I must admit that it's taken some time for me to warm up to "Love Lockdown" and after hearing the news that the entire album will be on same tip with minimal rapping & auto-tuned vocals...I'm not sure what to expect? I guess we'll all find out together on November 25th. So here's the latest leak "Heartbreak" directly from Kanye's blog, however he decided to drop the unmastered version of the cut...so stick tight for the full, CD quality joint coming soon...

So what do you guys think about this new direction 'Ye is taking with this album? Is it welcomed change of pace...or should he stick to rapping? Is anyone gonna check for "808's & Heartbreak" are hearing that he'll be singing with auto-tune throughout the whole thing? Sound off in the c-box & lemme know!
