So I had a bunch of new joints from Termanology locked and ready to go but for some reason or another I forgot to throw this post up over the weekend...Oh well. As y'all know,the DU is a big supporter of Term and always make it a point to throw up whatever new music dude puts out. Now that he's finally 'bout to drop the debut album "Politics As Usual" in just a few short weeks, the music that's been coming through the wire has been nothing but quality. In fact, not only do I have some cool "warm-up" tracks...but I also got my hands on a few album cuts featuring some heavy hitters like Prodigy, Freeway, & Sheek Louch with production from Alchemist & Nottz.
With the album's release date finally approaching on Tuesday of next week, Term has been busy doing some heavy promotion for "Politics". And in addition to the release party that went down in NYC a few days ago, Term will also be hosting another official party around my way in Providence this Saturday night and your boy JV will most definitely be in the house! The party will also feature the whole Showoff Records fam...including Statik Selektah, Torae, Reks, ST Da Squad, and the 401's very own Jon Hope. And if the NYC show is any indication of what to expect...it's guaranteed to be a great night of booze, bitches & hip-hop.
