The long awaited solo album from D-Block's Sheek Louch is finally here. Although many seem to write Sheek off as The LOX's "third wheel", since releasing his first solo album "Walk With Me" in 2003 he's continued to improve and has grown into a solid solo artist. I've made it perfectly clear in the past that I prefer the LOX as a group than as individual artists, but I've grown to tolerate Styles, Jada, + Sheek holding down tracks alone. But even still...it aint no accident that the best tracks on their albums usually are those in which feature each other. Oh well, I guess I'll have to deal until "Live, Suffer, Celebrate" drops...hopefully. But back to Sheek...after the disappointing "After Taxes", he's managed to put together quite an album this time around. I'm over halfway through it, and am really surprised at how solid it is. Rhymes, beats, concepts, and features are all on point and it definitely gets the JV stamp of approval.
