Peep some video footage from the "Rising Down" listening session hosted by the legendary Roots crew at their studio a few nights back. There's been a lot of confusion regarding the lead-off single from the upcoming album. First there was word that "Birthday Girl" featuring Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump would be it...but after all the negative feedback over at Okayplayer...?uest & the boys decided to not only pull it as a single...but from the whole album altogether. The track has now been downgraded to iTunes bonus track status and it looks like they've finally settled on "Rising Up" featuring Chrisette Michelle + Wale (which is a GREAT look for dude to finally get the exposure he deserves). You can check out the track below and also peep out some recently announced Roots U.S. tour dates to promote the album dropping April 29th.
