What's good everyone? Hope y'all are enjoying your weekends...Good news...I'm finally finished with finals, caught up on all my sleep, and it's back to business as usual here at the Undaground. With that being said, get ready for a gang of updates over the next few hours as I'm stuck at the radio station running a double-header baseball broadcast.
We're gonna start things off with some new music from in my eyes THE most underrated emcee in recent memory...Elzhi of Slum Village. Anyone who knows what's up with the dude can testify that he is no joke, as his rapid fire flow, sick wordplay, insane multis, and raw battle rhymes make him one of the most complete lyricists today. Unfortunately though, he still flies under most hip-hop heads' radar because dude rarely ever releases new tracks, and besides the three Slum Village albums, there is very little solo material available from dude outside of a few compilations like "Witness My Growth" + the unreleased "Out Of Focus" EP. But thanks to the Internet, the Detroit emcee's profile has been on the rise as word has spread and a new legion of followers have emerged.
Most recently, Elzhi has been on the grind touring overseas and recording more material in preparation of a promised solo album set to be released later this year. Luckily for us, while on tour, El has been selling an exclusive compilation of brand new, unreleased tracks entitled "EuroPass" that includes production from Black Milk, DJ Dez, + T3 and features guest verses from fellow Rock City artists T3 & Royce Da 5'9. Although the tape's been floating around Europe for months, it hadn't been leaked online until just the other day, and it's just been announced that it'll be officially released in stores later this month.
