Didn't see this one coming....
Just a week after Joe Budden showed up to Kay Slay's radio show with a Mood Muzik 3 preview track that featured a re-united A-Team, one of the most promising members of the squad, Ransom came outta nowhere and leaked a diss track called "Kid Brother" over Kanye's "Big Brother" going straight for Joey's throat. Far from a subliminal diss, Ransom pulled no punches in the track and had the internet going nuts for a few hours...
And the buzz lasted for just that...A few hours. Ransom's track was up on HipHopGame.com last night at 7PM and less than 12 hours later...Budden posted a response over Jay-Z's "Heart Of The City" on his message board. After listening to both tracks, I think Joey did his part and put Ransom in his place without getting too harsh. You can tell Joe woulda rather dealt with the issues off wax, but responded just to save face. But I'll stop commenting here...y'all know I cant possibly be impartial in this situation, so just listen to both tracks and judge for yourselves...

joe is more entertaining/witty than anyone in the game
Molodious
Damn...Budden is just dope and this kid Ransom is weak - thats the bottom line. Ransom has the feel of someone who if attached to a star (Budden) he could put out some albums and get a little paper and eat off Budden's left overs but he doesn't look like he wants to play his position.
As far as the tracks go Ransom's voice is to hot on the track which makes his annoying voice sound that much worse. His flow is mediocre at best and he has some things to say to Budden but nothing that really makes ya just go DAMN!!
Budden on the other hand laces the beat very well and it's a tough one to mess with. He addresses all the issues Ransom brings up and then airs out Ransom. Oh and did I mention that Budden knows how to spit?
This sounds like it will get squashed but if I were Budden I would cut this kid lose and let him learn the hard way that he ain't gon be anybody in this game.
