Like I've mentioned before, I started this blog as a place for my crew to easily download new music so I didn't have to waste CD-Rs and time uploading & IMing links daily for multiple people. Needless to say, this place has clearly evolved into something much bigger. Thanks to word of mouth and some shameless self promotion, we got a few hundred people visiting here daily to check out new music, news, and my thoughts on everything hip-hop. Now that I got your attention, I'll do whatever I need to keep this place on and poppin', and giving y'all what you want is my number one priority. With that being said...Since posting my collection of rare & unreleased AZ tracks earlier this month, I've gotten quite a few emails asking to continue uploading more of my collection. So, I'll continue to do it as a series with a different artist every time until I run out of music...or die...whichever comes first. Since introducing himself to the game with 1994's classic album "Illmatic", Nas has remained one of the most respected and thought provoking artists of all time. Over the years he has gained a reputation for having an amazing work ethic and has developed one of the most impressive and extensive catalog's of anyone in hip hop. In just over 13 years, he's released 8 solo albums, and appeared on group albums as a member of The Firm & The Bravehearts. In addition to the albums, he's also accumulated a massive amount of unreleased and rare material from early in his career featured on other albums, mixtapes, vinyl singles, and radio. As a long-time fan, I've searched the inner-depths and shady alleys of the Internet and rounded up an impressive collection of old mixtapes, bootlegs, promo vinyl, and compilations throughout the years. It'd take forever to share everything I have with you, so for time saving purposes, I've taken some of my favorites and compiled them into a few RAR files for your listening enjoyment. Some are more common than others but none are on any of Nas's official albums...
