Well after 2 rounds of diss records between former A-Team member Ransom & Joe Budden, I think it's pretty safe to say that after Joey's 9+ minute freestyle over "Takeover" he put his former friend and collaborator in his place. Although I'm partial to Budden right out the gate, I offered you all a chance to sound off in a poll, and an overwhelming majority of you (who cared about the battle in the first place) agreed with me that Ransom took the L in this short lived battle of Jersey rappers. In a brief interview with HiphopDX.com earlier this week, Ransom said he dissed Budden simply because Joe had him record a verse for his upcoming tape and without telling him, Joe also had former A-Team member Hitchcock come in and record a verse for the same track. Considering that the A-Team split up on bad terms, Ransom saw this as disrespectful on Joe's part. Towards the end of the interview he basically said that he wasn't going to reply to Joe's last diss for a variety for reasons...and who could blame him? No one in their right mind would reply after getting slayed that badly on wax. So for now, it looks like this battle is history. To read the entire interview with Ransom click here.

In other news...AllHipHop landed an exclusive video interview with Budden recently and though he didn't comment on the beef, he kept it positive and offered to preview three new tracks off Mood Muzik 3 including his emotional tribute to his recently murdered friend and former Desert Storm member Stack Bundles. The interview is split into three separate parts, each with a different song preview and an explanation from Joe about the song.
