Take back what I said before...Graduation is a certified banger. After a few listens I really began to appreciate the new sound and vibe the Louis Vuitton Don has brought to the table. The heavy synths & beautifully layered beats are damn near flawless. Plus, Kanye really stepped up his lyrics, wordplay & delivery which are areas that have held him back in the past. Overall its a great album...but I can't say how it measures up to College Dropout & Late Registration until I let it marinate a little more.
My only major issue with the album is "Homecoming" featuring Chris Martin. If you are a hardcore Kanye fan, you'll notice that the lyrics are reused from one of his Pre-car accident/Pre-Roc-a-fella tracks called "Home" which also featured John Legend. It was the first song I ever heard from 'Ye and is one of my favorites to this day. The beat was absolutely sick and the new version does not even do it justice. I wish he would have just cleaned up the original beat & re-recorded the vocals for Graduation...Oh well.
Anyway, I got my hands on some bonus tracks for everyone to add to their bootlegs. These will be tracks added to retail versions that you cop at Best Buy, Circuit City, & iTunes.
Kanye West ft. Lupe Fiasco & Pharrell - US Placers
Kanye West ft. Lil Wayne & Young Jeezy - Can't Tell Me Nothin' (Official Remix) (No DJ)
Kanye West. ft. John Mayer - Bittersweet
Oh and just so ya'll can hear for yourself...here's the original version of 'Home'. (Deal with the quality...it's the best version out there...and yes that is Kanye...he sounded different before the accident.)
Kanye West ft. John Legend - Home (Original Version)
I'll be back later on with another update along with a review of 50's album + some other nonsense.
One.

Graduation would've been a ton better with Bittersweet and the original Homecoming...take out Drunk and Hot Girls, that sh!t was wack
yeah i agree that its a pretty good album, but i feel ye's voice and delivery gets annoying over time, mainly his pronunciation on the last work of each line. good looking on the tracks.
I didn't like Drunk & Hot Girls at the jump either...it kinda grew on me though.
Still...i think the album coulda been better with a different track.
thanks for the comments guys...hopefully more people add some comments to other posts.

Kanye seriously out did himself with this album. It's not one of those albums that you love for a week and then throw out. This album needs a couple of listens and a open mind to appreciate the SERIOUS quality.
p.s. 'The Glory' is a certified REWIND!
can you repost the original version of home?
