The Hot97 Hip Hop Showcase @ SOB's in NYC got ugly last night.

Apparently...unscheduled performer Saigon hopped on stage and performed his new single "Come On Baby" and I guess some shit got talked and all hell broke loose between him & Mobb Deep. The original video posted up last night by Mobb Deep was definitely edited so you couldn't see Saigon snuff Prodigy two times in the grill. That version has since been taken off YouTube and a new version unedited & from a different angle is up above. It slows it down so you can clearly see Sai snuff Prodigy two times and then Sai's boy comes forward with a clothesline knockin P's hat off. After that it gets a little blurry and eventually Saigon & his boy fell back and decided to run out the club being chased by 10-15 of Mobb Deep's crew.

I'm trying to get my hands on the original video so y'all can see the action closer.

I'm a fan of both the Mobb & Saigon...but I gotta say Prodigy took the L here. Even though Saigon looks a little suspect running out of the club like that...what would you do if you and your boy were gettin' chased by 10-15 other dudes? I don't care how gangsta you are...nobody's gonna stay put in that situation.

Just got my hands on the Mobb Deep video...aka the version edited to make it seem like Prodigy didn't get smashed on. This vid claims that Sai was hiding under a table and then follows him as he gets chased out by about 15 dudes into the street. What did these cats expect him to do? Stand there and get stomped on by all those dudes?
