David Banner is gearing up to release his 5th solo album "The Greatest Story Ever Told" on October 9th. Banner was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi and is one of very few rappers who not only graduated from college but also obtained his masters degree. Banner is a busy man these days...in addition to rapping he is also a producer, record executive, actor, and active philanthropist. The first single is "Speaker" (aka 9MM) features Akon, Snoop Dogg, & Lil Wayne & has been in heavy rotation around the country. Banner is also about to release the 2nd single this week called "Get Like Me" which features Chris Brown, Young Joc, & Jim Jones. I just got my hands on the track and is definitely a certified banger. He also has guest spots lined up from Bun B, Pimp C, & Chamillionaire & production from Cool & Dre, Nitti, Akon, & of course...himself.
