The latest cover of XXL magazine features a story on the "Leaders of the New School". The magazine compiled a list of the top 10 emcees that they consider to be the next generation of hip-hop stars. Included in the list and the cover shot are: Saigon, Plies, Rich Boy, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Boosie, Gorilla Zoe, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Papoose, & Young Dro. I can't say that I agree with everyone on the list, but I understand that XXL has to be diplomatic and fair to all regions to sell magazines, so I can't knock the hustle. However...I am more than satisfied that three of my favorite emcees (Saigon, Lupe, Crooked) made the cover and got some much deserved shine.

Speaking of Crooked I...I've been getting a bunch of emails & comments from last nights post asking for more of his music. So here's the Hip-Hop Weekly joints that have been released since my initial post in August along with some other shit for more on Crooked.
