Here's the infamous video of the 50 Cent/Jim Jones interview on Rap City.
Apparently the rumors we reported about Jimmy joining the Unit are false...for now. But you get the vibe watching that there are definitely negotiations taking place. They indirectly mentioned the idea more than once in the clip.
All I know is that it'll be a sad day in the Dipset world if this ends up taking place. Jim wouldn't be where he is today without Cam'ron putting him on...and the idea of Jones jumping ship and joining Cam's rival's label is straight bitch made. Cam opened the door for both Juelz & Jim in the rap game, and now that Cam has fell back and gave them room to shine, dude's suddenly start forgetting where they came from. Not only that, but G-Unit's stock is definitely on the decline right now and the only one still selling records there is 50. Jones and The Dipset are established and have a huge, almost cult-like fan base...what's the point of abandoning that when all you're going to do is lose fans?
What do you all think of Jim Jones joining the Unit? Good move? Or Career suicide?
