This is my first throwback post. A throwback is obviously some older shit that may ring a bell, but it'll never be anything whack. I was thinking of a good first album and this one is perfect. "Latch Key Child" from A+. This album was a GREAT debut by such a young artist. A+ was only 13 back in 1996 when he dropped this album. That's really unbelievable.. especially after you listen to the album. He wasn't like none of the young rappers we've heard in the past few years or now a days though. Dude was actually dope lyrically and his music on this album was great. He had good story telling ability and seemed like an intelligent veteran. There are no big name producers on this album, but the production is still very nice. To top it all off, A+ had Az, Prodigy and Q-Tip on the album, 3 of NY's best! When it comes to being slept on, this album ranks near the top. It's a shame dude didn't go on to have a good career. This is one of the best debut albums in my opinion.
