Starting things off is some new Genius from the upcoming solo album "Pro Tools" (wait 'til you see the promo/cover artwork...shit is redonkulous), also a sick new freestyle from uncle LL, the first single from Luda's "Theater Of The Mind", and yet another banger from Banks who has been spitting like it's 2003 lately. Next up on the platter are a few more unreleased Weezy features, the new single from Murs' upcoming album, a freestyle from KRS-One over...some G-Unit?! WTF?, and some fresh new Young Buck. Wrapping things up are some hot cuts from Crooked I, Torae, Young Buck, Grafh, Asher Roth along with an unreleased gem from Jane Doe/Talib Kweli/Black Thought.
Oops...and I can't forget the latest unecessarily overcrowded, extended remix to hit the streets. This time it's Lloyd's "Girls Around The World" which features...*deep breath*...The Game, DJ Khaled, T.I., Rick Ross, Pitbull, Busta Rhymes, Yung Joc, Young Dro, Young Young, Young Lil' Young, Your Motha, Old James, Young Lil' Young Thug, Ace Hood, Joey The Weedcarrier, Tim The Engineer, Rico The Domino's Guy (and whoever else was walking around the studio when they were recording.) Seriously though...this shit needs to stop. The posse cut used to be such a beautiful thing...that shit was an ARTFORM! You see...when the stars aligned, and right group of emcees got together over the perfect beat and all worked toward the common goal of going into the booth and blacking out trying to one-up each other...many classic tracks were birthed as result. Now thanks to culture vultures like DJ Khaled, there's no legitimacy behind these remixes. It's a damn shame. And yes I'm mad.
