I expected dude to sell well...but pushing a million units (1,005,545 to be exact) first week out in 2008...with this economy?? That's impressive as hell. I guess this means that hip-hop is still alive and well. I'm still not sure how I feel about a gremlin leading the charge, but the fact remains that dude is creative as hell and continues to think outside the box, and we as hip-hop fans cannot ask for much more than that. Remember kids...you don't gotta like it, but you gotta respect it. Anyway, above is a new video blog from Weezy F. announcing the big news and comparing it to...a book drive?
