Damn...I take a day off and just like that 5,000 new joints leak. And we're not talkin' just any tracks...we're talking some heavy duty, neck breakin' hip-hop from some of the game's most respected names. So bear with me while I play catch up right quick with a few rapid fire posts.
First up is some new hot ish from one of my favorite groups of the 90's...Capone-N-Noreaga. Since bursting onto the scene with their classic 1997 debut "The War Report", CNN has been considered one of the quintessential groups that personified mid-90's NY hip-hop. However, thanks to Capone's various parole violations and subsequent up-north trips along with the crew's various label issues throughout the years, they have only released two retail albums as a group. After spending a few years focusing on solo projects, the duo is finally reuniting once again to drop "Reporting The War" later this summer. But In the meantime, they'll be teaming up with DJ Whoo Kid to drop "Back On That Q.U. Shit" mixtape later this month.
