Since things have been slow around here all week, I just decided to pass along an ill new tape that's been getting some steady spins in the whip all week long...It's the latest tape from one of the mixtape game's most underrated DJ's: Legend. Dude has been grinding hard (pause) to get his name out there while supporting real hip-hop at the same time. Not to mention the he's a major supporter of the game's best young talent and has had his tapes hosted by the likes of: Skyzoo, Stimuli, AC, + Termanology among others. This joint I'm about to hit y'all with is a collaboration with DJ Blazita and is titled "Real Hip-Hop: No Gimmicks" and features....you guessed it...real hip-hop with absolutely no gimmicks or preservatives. I know a lot of these tracks have been posted up here throughout the past few months, but even still, this is a real dope collection of some of the best shit to drop in awhile and is definitely worth the d/l.
