Well, I intended on throwing up multiple updates today, but I was busy putting in some serious hours over at the radio station all day and probably will be for the next few weeks to cover for our promotions director while she's out. But don't fear...I'll still be hittin y'all with the hot shit as early and often as I can. But enough bout the bullshit...let's get into the new music...

Talib Kweli ft. Joell Ortiz & Blu - Hostile Gospel (Remix)
Here's a hot new remix of Kweli's latest single "Hostile Gospel" produced by the incredible Justin Blaze. This time around, Talib is letting two of the game's most promising young mcs; Blu & Joell Ortiz, a chance to spit that gospel and the result is extremely hostile. (yeah I know that was corny. i'll stop.)

Lloyd ft. Lil Wayne - Girls Around The World
After hearing Mr. Long Hair Don't Care's latest cut with Ludacris, I got word that he's been working on a new album and is aiming to release it sometime this Spring. This joint featuring Lil' Wayne just leaked a few hours ago, and I'm definitely feelin' the throwback vibe of this joint and the "Paid In Full" sample just takes it to a whole 'nother level. Oh and I've also heard some rumors that Lloyd & Wayne were talking about collaborating on a collabo album "Best Of Both Worlds/Faceoff" style. Stay tuned.

RZA ft. Inspectah Deck - You Can't Stop Me Now
Here's a brandy new cut from Bobby Digital and Rebel I.N.S. that's rumored to be included on RZA's new album "Digi Snax" scheduled to drop this summer. Before I get bombarded with questions...I don't have any other info about the album other than the title, so keep an eye and ear open for some more info when it's revealed.

The Dogg Pound ft. Pharrell - Cheat (Prod. By Neptunes)
Check the new jam from left coast vets Kurupt & Daz. After being released from Cash Money without even releasing an album, they are going the independent route with their upcoming untitled album. I'm guessing that this could potentially be a lead-off single considering the high profile Pharrell feature, Neptunes production, oh and can't forget the fact that the beat BAANNNGS. Don't sleep kids!!!

Snoop Dogg - Nobody Better (Ego Trippin Bonus Track)
This is an exclusive bonus track from Snoop's album "Ego Trippin" that will probably be available on a special Best Buy or Circuit City edition. If you ask me this shoulda been included on the album...it's got a hot Chaka Khan "Aint Nobody" sample flip and it's just vintage Snoop music.

Ne-Yo - Closer
I don't know much about this joint except that it's supposedly a track from Ne-Yo's upcoming album. I didn't even know dude was preparing to release another album already. I think the song's iight, but I'm sure Ne-yo/R&B fans will probably feel it...So take it or leave it.

The Roots ft. Patrick Stump - Birthday Girl (Webrip)
Okay, I was lying before. Those first two leaked tracks from The Roots (Black's Reconstruction/Get Busy) were just warm-up tracks, street singles, or whatever you wanna call them. The bottom line is, this "Birthday Girl" joint is the OFFICIAL first single from the "Rising Down" album. It features Patrick Stump from Fallout Boy...I know...I know...I was like WTF? at first too. But after a few listens, the track is actually real good and has a powerful message behind it. Excuse the quality, it's a web-rip and it's as good as we're getting for now. I'll have a CDQ soon enough.

Crooked I - That White Freestyle (Hip Hop Weekly 49)
The latest from Crooked I is over "That White" from Fat Joe's new album produced by DJ Premier. As we get closer and closer to the end of Crooked I's "Hip Hop Weekly" series, I feel bad for anyone who hasn't been following since along because I can't recall even one week where I felt that he didn't absolutely murder the track. Even when he chose to rhyme over a beat I didn't particularly like, he somehow managed to turn me into a fan once all was said and done. It looks like this is FINALLY Crooked's time to shine and once week 52 is over and done, he better capitalize on the buzz and bless hip-hop with the potentially classic west coast album we all know he has in him.

Trey Songz ft. Rick Ross - Can't Help But Wait (Desert Storm Remix)
Yet another remix from Trey Songz...he sure is squeezing as much as he can from this track considering the 15 different remixes I've heard. At least there's a new beat on the track this time around thanks to DJ Clue and the fine folks over at Desert Storm.

Mariah Carey ft. The Dream - Touch My Body (Official Remix)
I'm getting tired of writing. Mariah...The Dream...Remix. Some high octaves + annoying "ayes" included. Batteries sold seperately.

I'll be back tomorrow with some more music...including Ego Trip 1994 + the re-ups for '88 + '89. One.
