?uestlove unveiled the cover art for The Roots' upcoming album "Rising Down" earlier today and for anyone confused, explained it's significance at Okayplayer: "This drawing is entitled NEGRO RULE. and it pretty much sums up the feeling of the Confederate Union towards the newly freed slaves and the idea that if given power they would reek havoc and chaos on the country."

Makes sense considering the tone + direction that The Roots' have taken with their latest album, which will be commenting on a lot of pertinent social issues of today. In addition to the album art, another new track dropped today and it's probably my favorite of the bunch that have dropped in the past 2 weeks. It's the title track to the album and features Styles P, Dice Raw + Mos Def. Unfortunately, like the other leaks, the track isn't the greatest quality, but it's the best I can do for now.
