I meant to post this yesterday, but I had far too much to eat, drink, and inhale during the big game and was in no shape to be operating a computer or any heavy machinery when I finally got home. Regardless, we got a nice little collection of new tracks that leaked over the past week and of course some nice commentary and random obnoxious thoughts from me. So ch-ch-ch check it out!!!

Jim Jones ft. Game - Love Me No More (Remix)
Check out this new joint from Jimmy Jones & Game. I'm not sure where this came from, and don't think I ever heard the original. I mean it's not as good as their first collabo..."Certified Gangstas" but it's definitely a solid joint. Game's been pretty quiet for a minute now, so I guess this means he's about to get back on the grind to gear up for his new and possibly last album "LAX" this summer.

Wale - Get You Right
Here's a new joint from the D.C. phenom Wale. As y'all know, I showcased dude in my "Best Kept Secrets" story a few months back and since then he's continued to put out fresh music showcasing his versatility over a variety of different styles. I'm hearing rumors that he's very close to signing a major label deal and is already close to finishing his album. He's also slated to appear on the upcoming Roots album "Rising Down". Anyway, this one right here is strictly for the car systems...a bass heavy trunk banger sure to turn some heads at the stoplights. Oh and props to hiphopupdate for the exclusive.

Natasha Bedingfield ft. Lil Wayne & Sean Kingston - Love Like This (Remix)
Here's the latest remix of the millions of remixes Weezy jumps on. At the rate he's going...he'll surpass Busta Rhymes as the biggest remix whore of all time. Anyway, this is originally a sugary pop track by Natasha Bedingfield that's been all over VH1 and shit...but producer Jim Jonsin' took it and added some nice drums and made it a little more "hip hop" for Wayne to do his thanggg. Like the Wale joint above, this will probably turn heads too...but not in a good way.

O'neal Mcknight - Check Your Coat

I don't know what it is...but there's just something about this joint that is just plain ill. I caught the video on a blog last week and I've been steady bumping it since. Mcknight is fresh on the scene and isn't even signed (as far as I know), but he's been generating a lot of buzz thanks to this track and has a bunch of labels knockin at the door. The track channels late 80's Michael Jackson on that "Rock With You" tip and with the right promotion, could be a surefire radio/club hit.

Mary J. Blige ft. Swizzy & Weezy - Just Fine (Remix)
New remix of MJB's latest single featuring production from Swizz Beatz and a verse from Weezy. Is is just me or does it seem like since Mary cleaned her act up and got married...every record she puts out is overly happy? It's like I'm fine...I'm happy...I love my life...no more drama...no hateration...Ok...We get it Mary. I found her music much better when she was all stressed out, getting fucked over, and beefing out...you know all that good drama. haha

Tyrese ft. Ludacris - Comin To See You
Here we got a fresh R&B cut from Tyrese...who I guess decided to finally give up that "Black Ty" rapping nonsense. Although he wasn't half bad, he should really stick to his day job. This is a decent joint, I mean it isn't anything too special but it's got a smooth beat and Luda kills his verse as usualll. Tracks like this make me miss those good ole r&b slow jams of the 90's...I mean they were sexy and naughty, but in a subtle, romantic way...aka the complete opposite of today. We went from cats saying "I'll Make Love To You" to "I Wanna Fuck Yo Brains Out".

AZ - Fire
Here's the latest from A to the Z, it's a track off his upcoming album "Undeniable". It's titled "Fire" and It's produced by the one and only Nottz. Unfortunately, just this week it was announced that the album has been pushed back a full month to March 8th. There's also some rumors floating around that Sosa may be teaming up with Nas for their first collaboration in quite a few years. Stay tuned for more info.

Memphis Bleek ft. Uncle Murda - Let It Off

This joint right here is the latest from Roc-A-Fella's official outcasts: Bleek & Uncle Murda. Surpringly, it's actually pretty hot and actually had a video drop with it earlier this week. As y'all probably heard, Murda was recently shot, and a bullet grazed and became stuck in the side of his head. Since then, he's been getting quite a lot of press and a re-energized buzz. However, there's a lot of rumors circulating that since Jigga man is bouncing from his spot at Def Jam that many Roc-A-Fella artists may be dropped from the label. Only time will tell.

Talib Kweli - Momma Can You Hear Me (Prod. By Kanye)

Unreleased joint from Kweli with Mr. Yeezy on the boards. Does anyone else miss back when Kanye was actually spitting AND still producing hits for other cats? Dude needs to heed his own advice and "stop saving all the good beats for his self". Anyone, solid spittin from Kweli, who single handedly ressurected his career in '06/'07 and is now rumored to be re-teaming with Kweli for Reflection Eternal 2.

Ras Kass - Butterfly Effect
This is what I'm talkin about right here. Ras Kass is probably one of the most under appreciated West Coast emcees ever. He's gotten himself into both some legal and label trouble over the years and never really popped off like he was supposed to. Despite that, he's still capable of spitting some sick verses when the time is right, and this is no exception.

Guru - Who Got It On Lock
Check out the new joint from Guru and his producer/partner Solar. It's from the new mixtape "Jazzmatazz: Back To The Future" he just put out with DJ Doo Wop. Compared to a lot of the shit he's released the past few years, it's actually pretty hot. I'm still patiently waiting for him and Premier to bury the hatchet and knock out at least one more Gangstarr album...JUST ONE MORE!!!

Mickey Factz - Pumpin'
Here's some more of that block rockin beat from BK's own Mickey Factz. If y'all aint familiar with Mickey, he's and up and comer who's on some hipster Pharrell/Lupe kinda tip and has some serious skills on the mic. I'ma be doing an artist spotlight on dude very soon so keep an eye open...and if you wanna be ahead of everyone else, listen here and do some research.

Crooked I - Til I Collapse (Hip Hop Weekly 44)
And down the stretch he comes. Crook has been putting in some serious work for the past 44 weeks and has only 8 more freestyles until he completes a full year of tracks. This Hip Hop Weekly series has been huge for Crooked and has resurrected his career and buzz after so many years in limbo. He's built a huge internet fan base with these weekly freestyles and I hope that once week 52 is completed he is able to carry over that buzz and put out a successful retail album. Look out for an official mixtape to drop February 14th titled "St. Valentines Day Bossacre" featuring all original material hosted by DJ Felli Fel.
