As y'all probably have heard, today is a pretty big day in politics. It's known as "Super Tuesday" and there are primary elections being held in a gang of states across the country today for the upcoming presidential election. It goes without saying that this election is huge and may be one of the most important of our lifetime. The winner of November's election will dictate the new direction the country will take on a variety of pertinent issues both domestically and internationally. With the trillion dollar debt accumulated by President Bush after President Clinton left office with a surplus (see: more money, no debt) the newly elected president will be taking a hefty responsibility once taking office next January. I'm not here to tell you who to vote for...I don't give a fuck personally, I just hope y'all will take a few minutes to look over the issues and stances of each candidate and go out and vote. Although your individual vote may not make the difference in the long run, the democratic process in the country works and every vote means something. In my mind, these primaries actually mean a lot more than the general election as we can choose which candidate is most suited to be the one to be reppin their party proper.

Your boy will mos def be voting when the time comes...and it'll definitely be Democrat. I'm still a little unsure about who I'll be voting for though. Although I'm a big fan of Billy Clinton, and she's got some experience under her belt, I don't know if Hilary gots what it takes to take this country in the right direction. On the other hand, Obama's a great speaker and has some great ideas...but he's still a little new to this whole politics thing, which could impact his decision making when big things need to be decided.

Even though I'm still weighing the options, I'ma predict that it's gonna be Obama/Edwards & McCain/Huckabee as the two party tickets when all is said and done...Who do y'all think is gonna come out on top after this primary? Leave a comment and lemme know.

*Edit* Oh and check out this new video in support of Obama from Will.I.Am and a gang of other artists/celebs.
