If you have yet to see Lupe Fiasco in concert, this right here will make sure you're first in line for a ticket next time he comes around your way. This is a great quality live recording of his concert at the House Of Blues in Chi-town late last year. Lupe was joined on stage by fellow 1st & 15'ers Matthew Santos, Gemini, & Bishop G plus backed by a live band. Fiasco rolls right through the highlights of both his albums, and even from the audio it's clear his stage presence and charisma is rivaled by few in the entire hip-hop community.

I actually got an opportunity to see Lupe, Common, and Kanye at Mohegan Sun this past summer, but unfortunately most of the crowd showed up incredibly late and on top of that, the yuppie mainstream kids that were there clearly were not the "ideal" crowd and most likely were there just to hear "Gold Digger". To make matters worse, there were plenty of audio issues, with his microphone volume being crazy low and his hype man's being crazy high...simply put it was a fuckin' disaster. Lupe was pretty disgusted and pretty much phoned in his performance without any enthusiasm and actually sat down on a stool with his hoodie on at one point. Long story short, the performance was horrible...and after reading other reviews and hearing this, I definitely missed out on a crazy show due to some douchebags. Oh well, guess i'ma have to wait til he comes back for a solo show or something? Check out the set list & link below...
