Good to see and hear some good new music infiltrating my speakers this week. Here's some air-tight joints to check out from the past few days with some extended comments, wisecracks, news, and cheapshots from me...

N.E.R.D. - Everybody Nose
(Peep out the rumored first single from N*E*R*D's upcoming third album...aptly titled "N3RD". This leaked on a BBC blog earlier today and it's yet to be confirmed whether it's just a never-before heard throwaway or indeed a single. Regardless, I'm not too crazy about this joint...at all. Maybe it's a grower?)

9th Wonder ft. Tyler Woods & Styles P - Only Knew
(As requested...here's a new joint from 9th Wonder's upcoming "Wonder Years" project featuring Styles P & Tyler Woods. I never heard of this Wood's cat until someone pointed it out on comment box, and directed me to dude's myspace page...but he's not bad...not at all. Looking forward to hearing more.)

(Here's two joints from known unknown Akrobatik featuring Little Brother and Talib Kweli. They are from Ak's latest project "Absolute Value" scheduled to drop in February. Definitely worth a listen, I'll throw up the full album when I get my hands on it. Shout out to 2dopeboyz for the exclusive audio.)

(The enigma known as Jay Electronica has returned. After sparking up buzz in the inner depths of the internet and slowly becoming known worldwide, Electronica is quite the emcee and is co-signed by Just Blaze, Erykah Badu, Nas, and a gang of others. Pete Rock ft. Royal Flush - Questions
(Here's yet another leaked joint from Petey's upcoming project 'NY's Finest' featuring Royal Flush. Although I'm not crazy about Pete's emceeing skills, from what I'm hearing...this album is shaping up to be pretty hot. I'm still a little salty that the Slum Village joint won't be on it...and lets not even speak about CL Smooth.)

(Wow. I've all but given up on Ali Vegas ever dropping an album. I remember listening to dude when I was like 15 years old when he first surfaced on the infamous "In Too Deep" soundtrack. I always stayed on top of dude's moves and after the 3rd or 4th failed record deal without ever dropping a full-length album....I pretty much stopped checking for him. But here we are...like 8 years later and little homie is still at it. Backed by his longtime friend Lamar Odom & "Rich Soil" label...he finally looks like he's bout to drop the debut. Both these joints remind me why I started listening to dude in the first place. Don't sleep!!!)

Flo-Rida - Elevator (prod. by Timbaland)
(Here's the latest from Flo-Rida who's currently enjoying his spot at the top of the charts thanks to a robot, some apple bottom jeans, and a pair of boots that have fur. I figured this dude would be one and done but surprisingly his label dished out the cash to get a follow-up single produced by Timbaland. The result is some amazing production, alright lyrics, and a horrendous hook. That formula could very well result in another hit record...we'll see.)

Pleasure P ft. Lil Wayne - Rock Bottom
(Random I know...but this joint is some super smoove R&B with a nice feature from Mr. Weezy F. Don't ask who Pleasure P is...I don't know...and I really don't care.)
