You may remember a story I brought y'all a few months back about Lil' Wayne's plan to release an official retail album in December called "The Leak" that would feature a bunch of tracks leaked throughout the year from the "Carter 3" recording sessions. As y'all know, there have been about 4 or 5 unofficial mixtapes floating around since summer with unfinished, rough versions of Weezy tracks on them. Recognizing the demand for the tracks, Wayne told MTV he planned to clean the tracks up by adding some extra verses and tweaking the beats then release them as a "warm-up" to the official album in February.

Since that report we've heard nothing more about "The Leak" and since January is quickly approaching, it looked like we weren't gonna get it. However, earlier this week Amazon and Rhapsody began offering a mysterious new 5 track EP entitled "The Leak" that is labeled as an official Lil Wayne/Cash Money release. So far no one from Weezy's camp has mentioned anything about the EP and it's mysterious appearance has plenty of people asking questions. Regardless, the fact is that we got 5 full new tracks from Wayne that are CD quality with no DJ. I mean I'd prefer to have a few more tracks than 5...but beggars can't be choosers. All the tracks were downloaded right from Amazon and are as official as you can get.

01. I'm Me

02. Gossip

03. Kush

04. Love Me Or Hate Me

05. Talkin' About It

Damn...right as I was finished typing this post I got my hands on some more tracks from that first tape that leaked on a mixtape this summer from The Evil Empire called "The Drought Is Over". It featured Kush, Pussy MVP, I Feel Like Dying, Help and a bunch more. I got them all full, in CD quality, without any DJ's..so check back late tonight or tomorrow morning, and I'll put them all up for y'all.
