It seems like every other day someone gets there hands on a bunch of unheard new tracks from Lil Wayne and leaks them onto the 'net as tracks from The Carter 3. We get dude's claiming their in Weezy's circle, engineers who work with him, or in this case...some gully ass nigga who robbed a disc from Wayne's whip. With all this new music flooding the 'net so frequently you gotta suspect that dude's work ethic and studio time is rivaling 2pac's at this point.
Anyway to make a long story short...yesterday a few rumors popped up with a bunch of cats claiming they had a whole CD of tracks from the new album. By last night, someone leaked about 9 new tracks to back up their claims. I got my hands on the tracks, and although they are definitely new joints...they are...how do I say.........weird. I don't buy for a second that they are all going to be on the new album, more than likely they are just from a studio session on a disc that he was bumping to determine if he was going to put em on a mixtape, the Carter, his upcoming "Bad Ass Grasshopper" project, or just throw em away.
I'm willing to bet that most of these joints will not make it to the Carter...they are all on some weird T-Pain/R&B/Funk/Too Much Syrup tip which is exactly what I heard his Bad Ass Grasshopper project was going to sound like. I can picture the tracks with Swizz & Twista being on an upcoming mixtape...and that joint with Babyface sounds like it has the most potential to be an actual Carter III track because of the high profile guest spot & Kanye produced it. Anyway...here's all the tracks in one file so y'all can hear em for yourself.
